While the list of famous people who happen to be lefthanded is rather long,
the list of famous people who have demonstrated their left hand skills is much shorter.  

We have identified a small group of lefthanded actors / entertainers
who have clearly demonstrated their lefthandedness in their work.

Chuck Connors played father, rancher and sharp-shooter Lucas McCain on The Rifleman on television from 1958 to 1963.  Prior to his acting career, Connors also played professional basketball and professional baseball, one of few to reach the major leagues on both sports. 

Michael Landon played Little Joe Cartright, living on the Ponderosa Ranch and shooting rifles and pistols lefthanded on Bonanza on television from 1959 to 1973.

Robert Redford played bank-robber and lefthanded pistol sharpshooter Butch Cassidy in 1969 (along with the Sundance Kid), and in 1984 he played a lefthanded pitcher as the younger Roy Hobbs and a lefthanded slugger as the older Roy Hobbs in The Natural.

Dennis Quaid played lefthanded quarterback Cap Rooney in the 1999 film called Any Given Sunday, and he played lefthanded pitcher Jim Morris in 2002 film called The Rookie.

Keanu Reeves played a lefthanded quarterback named Shane Falco in the 2002 film called The Replacements.

Tim Allen played lefthanded tool time host Tim Taylor from 1991 to 1999 in the television comedy called Tool Time.

Jerry Seinfeld is a lefthanded actor and comedian who played himself on TV.  Before he was famous, he did a stand-up comedy routine about being lefthanded.
